“In 2018 I created a series of experiments titled “Neural Glitch” in which I deliberately manipulated the inner weights of custom trained GANs by permuting and altering them.
As a result, these models that had originally been tasked to enhance the inputs they were given started to misinterpret those inputs both on an esthetic and a semantic level.”
I chose to reflect on this artist and because I found the result amazingly like the work of Francis Bacon, I began researching his work.
I mixed the art of Bacon with the food bacon to create a grotesque art that is combining the texture of the flesh with the art of the painter.
After I managed to create a good composition, I wanted to give it a bit more surreal atmosphere, so I animated a part of the painting I created. The result is a homage to the artist and his work.
