About the Work
The concept involves artist Eaton using a custom neural network trained on his photography to translate drawings into photographic/painterly outputs.
Each morning for two months, a new drawing was fed into the network to test its progress. The simple black-and-grey drawings were transformed into rich, visually complex images reminiscent of Francis Bacon's style.

For my homework, I chose to reverse-engineer Eaton's drawings by converting his final images back into sketches. This process was accomplished using a model from Hugging Face that specializes in image-to-text conversion.
