Beehive Game

Game Rules

Welcome to the Beehive Game! Here are the rules:

  1. A bee is born: An empty cell (not a blocked cell) becomes a bee if it is surrounded by exactly three living bees (regardless of the queen).
  2. A living bee remains alive: A living bee remains alive if it has exactly two or three neighboring living bees.
  3. A living bee dies of loneliness: A living bee with fewer than two neighboring living bees dies of loneliness.
  4. A living bee dies of overcrowding: A living bee with more than three neighboring living bees dies of overcrowding.
  5. Queen rule: Any living bee with a queen bee (marked in a special cell) in one of its neighboring cells will survive, regardless of the number of neighbors.
  6. Blocked cell rule: Certain cells are marked as blocked hexagons and cannot be used by bees, queens, or anything else. They serve as natural barriers in the game.
